Season’s Greetings

Hi, I just wanted to give you all a little sign of life and a likely arrival date for the next release which will be somewhere around the end of february I hope.
The release 0.8 will all be about performance(especially for the GestureManager), improved included gestures and further documentation. Johannes Luderschmidt has also created a custom Gesture system based on the library which may also be merged into the release or used to improve the current GestureManager.
You can already see some of the changes by checking out the latest svn version which should be stable.

I hope you all had a nice christmas and have a happy new year ;)

  1. Could we have a date for the next release of your great job ?

  2. Well I currently hope that I’ll be able to do a proper release in July. I was quite busy at university and we added and changed a lot more stuff than planned so we didn’t manage to do the release as promised at the end of february. If you can’t wait you can still check out the current svn release which should be quite stable and is definitley usable.

  3. Thanks for your reply, I ami going to check the svn version :)

  4. Is there any chance to have a “quick start” example of the svn version ? It seems there have been a lot of changes ;)

  5. If you have any specific question feel free to ask, but a guide for the current api is pretty unlikely since it isn’t 100% finished yet and keeping guides up to date takes quite some time x)
